Perfect Straight Hair

When we talk about straight hair, it reminds me of my old college days. When hair straightening used to be a luxury and not everyone could afford to have it done in beauty parlours. Once we hostel mates were watching TV and came across an advertisement of a straightener on one of the English channels, where they explained its functioning. There strike an idea in my mind. i took an iron and a thin towel, set it on low heat silk option and started ironing on my hair, and the results were noticeable. My roommate was amazed as she had frizzy hair, and could not wait to be experimented on her hair too. Then from one room to other it became a routine in our hostel where every morning you could see girls borrowing each other’s iron. Then with time lot of experiments were done, i started washing my hair with beer first to condition it and apply a bit serum then iron it. After ironing, apply little bit of hair gel for long lasting results.

Well this is my perfect idea of Straight hair which everyone can afford and have a noticeable look.

Importance of Breakfast

A recent research study says that eating breakfast has an advantageous effect on late morning mood, satiety and cognitive performance. Eating immediately afyer waking up fuels you up instantly and prepares you for the day ahead. If you dont eat breakfast, the starvation mode makes you want to eat more and store more, resulting in weight gain. Your daily breakfat should include protiens, fibre and complex carbohydrates. Items such as a bowl of poha, upma or dalia are perfect mix of carbohydrates and proteins. Moong dal or besan, fat free milk, cheese, yoghurt, raw fresh fruits, whole grain breads, crackers and cereals, are some of the good breakfast items.

Some of the results of skipping breakfast: it can lead to slow start of the day, low mental performance, fatigue, weight gain, lack of energy and stamina, weakens your immune syetem.

Reasearch says : "Breakfast is the only way you can survive the day without feeling lethargic or tired".

Also the ideal time for breakfast should be within the first hour of waking up. Eating soon after you wake up can raise your energy level and encourage you to be more active throughout the day. Delaying it could cause a complete blood sugar crash resulting in overeating during the first meal of the day.
